"Fall down the rabbit hole where wavy dream-pop reigns with disassociating trip-hop..."

The first of 12 solo LP's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is to release this year, each track on Sworn Virgins was cut live in a single take with phenomenal drummer Deantoni Parks.

Rodriguez Lopez uses looping and a pitch-shifter to play bass, guitar and sing at the same time. Melty acid zest and explosive swagger define opener Pineapple Face, and a dark jab at "all the junkies in Spain" on High Water Hell has Lopez crooning "You got to keep it together". Fall down the rabbit hole where wavy dream-pop reigns with disassociating trip-hop and fiendishly prodigal, virtuosic guitar playing.
