Album Review: NoDrums - OND

StarStarStar

"Chaos and form, languishing in a slightly uncomfortable beanbag."

Perth boy Andrew Weir could - if he so wished - become a notorious genre subvert of Chris Morris or Andy Kaufman-like ability.

Sure, we’re in somewhat familiar avant-electronica territory, but both Fly and OP SO had this reviewer checking and rechecking the streaming quality on three devices due to pops and clicks which actually form rhythm and texture a là Squarepusher-lite. These five tracks put together over two years worth of travelling have both chaos and form, languishing in a slightly uncomfortable beanbag until Marquis finishes showing love for Orbital’s Snivilisation period.
