Live Review: No Slowing Down At Fresh Prince

This Saturday, we've got our biggest FRESH PRINCE to date! This time you'll be spreading your ear-legs for THREE excellent bands

This Saturday, we've got our biggest FRESH PRINCE to date! This time you'll be spreading your ear-legs for THREE excellent bands, bringing that delicious indie sound to the guts of Transit Bar, accompanied by the mashtastic party jams of our Canberra residents!

SLOW DOWN HONEY...

Kicked 2011 off with a tour alongside Hungry Kids of Hungary, and have since been dazzling the front of house with their devilishly handsome brand of indie rock, with oodles of harmonies, pop charm, and a beat to jive to.

THE DEAD LEAVES...

Their sound is a raw and passionate collision of the dark brooding sonics of Joy Division and Grizzly Bear, meeting up with the dank and roomy basement sound of Band Of Horses and Tom Petty – all culminating on a rainy Saturday afternoon with the buzz and haze of several bottles of red wine.

FOX & FOWL...

5 Canberrans repping some seriously catchy surf-pop. Got a sneaky feeling you'll love these guys!  Download 'Pilot (She's All, Oh Hey)' free HERE and find out for yourself!
