Album Review: Nightmares On Wax - N.O.W. Is The Time

StarStarStarHalf Star

This double disc best of (although without Finer this reviewer would say it’s an ‘almost’ best of) is rich with smoky gems.

More Nightmares On Wax Nightmares On Wax Profile

He might've been known as Nightmares On Wax for the past 25 years, but there's nothing remotely scary about the output of George Evelyn. This double disc best of (although without Finer this reviewer would say it's an 'almost' best of) is rich with smoky gems, blended from Evelyn's main inspirations: hip hop, dub and, it must be said, copious quantities of ganja. If after two hours and 25 minutes of roaming these lush aural pastures you're not blissfully horizontal, you should probably consult a doctor about your blood pressure.
