And when he hits that falsetto, hot damn!

More Nick Jonas More Nick Jonas

Let’s face it. Out of the three Jonas Brothers, Nick was the brains, writing and producing a chunk of their music. His solo effort stands on shaky newborn legs, with detours into ‘80s aerobic synths (Teacher) and cheesy balladeering (Avalance ft. Demi Lovato), but when he switches it on, he’s dynamite. There’s the pop electronics of Numb with complimentary verse from Angel Haze, the kick-punch double of sensuality meets mystery on Chains and Jealous, and the rhythmic opening chord strum of I Want You. And when he hits that falsetto, hot damn!
