Album Review: Neurotic November - Anunnkai

The band themselves offer much to get excited about, but not enough has been committed to this mostly predictable record.

Florida grindcore five-piece Neurotic November crunch, scream and shred schizophrenic magmatic/cancerous corn-flaked larynxes to order on this debut... until the occasional rap (seriously!), Bill & Ted twiddle-riff or even both combined (in Wasabi Anguish) slap you in the face with a silly fish. For all we know, lead-bloke Dirty could be reciting My Little Pony plotlines for much of this album, such is the horrific charm typical of the genre. The band themselves offer much to get excited about, but not enough has been committed to this mostly predictable record.
