When the most notable lyrics making up the chorus to this album’s title track consists of “la la la la di da di”, it’s clear what to expect from the pre-pubescent Brit quartet. The layered multitudes of Auto-Tuning and pulsating bass synths are alarming throughout, but serve to completely overwhelm Braveheart and generically written, “we’ve got street cred” anthem Bad Man. Tracks alleviating the drudgery of comprehensively mass-produced three-minute dance tunes include Louder and Can’t Stop The Love, in which the group’s voices (which are genuinely impressive) can actually be heard without having been grossly altered.
