Australian reggae singer Nattali Rize has collaborated with Jamaican production team and backing band Notis on this nine-track EP featuring six songs and three dub remixes.
This is Rize's first release without her previous band Blue King Brown, and her music comes across with a renewed focus. The rhythms are tighter and the production more direct, though with the same emphasis on songs with hooks. On single Rebel Love she goes for a straight-up love song, but if you're looking for your dose of conscious music, Rize's lyrics are as political as ever. One love.
