Album Review: Naive Thieves - Vamonos

As crisp as a new pair of skinny jeans rolled halfway up your ankle, Naïve Thieves offer the kind of tight, twee guitar-pop you can set your watch by. There's enough of a self-aware wink that keeps Vamonos from taking itself too seriously. Vamonos is light fluff. But it's infectiously listenable, smile-inducing, light fluff. And all of that means that it's only a matter of time before the joy is sucked out of the Naïve Thieves sound when they're used in a shitty TV ad for some unnecessary product. Listen now before it's too late.
