Museum Of Love mixes sensitive songwriting with dance music sensibilities to create intriguing and dense soundscapes wrinkled with textures, with songs that resonate through the chambers of the emptiest hearts. “I need to feel your love,” former LCD Soundsystem drummer Mahoney moans on Down South, capturing the kind of ache only the pounding drumbeats and the spiralling, spiritual synths of songs like In Infancy can release. Occasionally seeming airless, they displays a dynamic ability to wind up and release tensions.
