Melbourne band The Dead Leaves are set to release their album in mid 2011 and to grab our attention they are giving away a free download of their cover Talking Head’s This Must Be The Place.
The dark brooding vocals from Matt Joe Gow fits in perfectly with the May chill in the air while the bands dense layered sound adds the much needed touch of warmth to this 80s classic.
This Must Be The Place is the first track off The Dead Leaves new album produced by Scott Horscroft (The Presets, Birds of Tokyo, The Panics) and Eric J Dubowsky (Art vs Science, Weezer).
