Part-Mauritian, part-English man, MO KOLOURS, is a significantly unique musician with a pensive eye in crafting distinctive soul, dub and hip hop tunes with a hint of electronic influence.
Having just constructed his new record, Mo Kolours has collaborated with fellow Londoner, Henry Wu for their track, 'South LDN'.
Almost like a taser, this tune opens with a shock to the system so electrifying, it's almost criminal for not coming with a warning label. This beaming jolt of energy is soon phased out though, only to be replaced with the signature chalky beats and sporadic, off-centre additives that Mo Kolours' tunes seem to frequently inherit.
Carried by the keywork of Henry Wu, the pace and behaviour of 'South LDN' is sluggish, for the tiresome affair pushes and crawls until it can physically move no more.
