Album Review: Miley Cyrus - Bangerz

Sound familiar? Of course it does. It’s also awful

Hoaaoaoah, heyyyy, hoooooo, heyyyyyy, babyyyyyy,” begins Bangerz's opener Adore You. Sound familiar? Of course it does. It's also awful. “You and me were meant to be in holy matrimony/God knew exactly what he was doing, when he let me do you.” Starting with a nauseatingly over-the-top ballad is a coup; We Can't Stop is then followed by the title track, a hyperactive mashing of '00s Pink and the exact element that makes The Black Eyed Peas who they are. That's pretty much it for the rest; even the production is too bad to save the entire mess. Big surprise.
