Album Review: Mic Conway's National Junk Band - Diagonally Parked In A Parallel Universe

The vaudeville of musician/circus performer Conway and co is nearly an Australian institution. This sees them up to their usual tricks – puns, dad jokes – but perhaps being older and occasionally wiser. Five Minutes To Midnight has a vague reference to climate change and the well covered Mad World is a solemn moment amongst the racket. The comedy is goofy, but with genuine charm and some laugh-out moments like the title track, What The Hell Am I Doing Here In Tamworth? and All Of A Sudden.
