Album Review: Meghan Trainor - Thank You

StarHalf Star

"Her heart's in the right place, but sadly the material in this album does not showcase her talent."

Thank You is full of self-acceptance, honesty and self-love songs with beats that might get you grooving but thankfully don't stay stuck in your head.

Me Too has an addictive dance beat but lyrically sounds like a stuck-up brat in VIP rather than her catchy confidence-boosting anthems. Ukulele song Just A Friend To You shows Trainor's softer side, while Dance Like Yo Daddy is a cute catchy dance song. Trainor is one talented lady, and her heart's in the right place, but sadly the material in this album does not showcase her talent in the way that it should.
