The lovely Megan McInerney aka Meg Mac is celebrating the last night of her first-ever national tour and, from the very first note of her opening track, instantly captures our attention with powerhouse vocals. The classy songstress has a strong stage presence and radiates as she continues to bust out some huge notes that send chills down spines. She continues to turn heads with a stellar list of soulful, pop tracks from her recently released, self-titled EP. The infectious, piano-driven track Known Better particularly shines. The set becomes a family affair when Mac’s little sister Hannah helps her out on backing vocals and the pair feed off each other’s energy and sing in perfect harmony.

The bluesy Grandma’s Hands showcases Meg Mac’s hard-hitting vocals and she gets lost in a moment of passionate angst, which takes this unique song to the next level. Although a cappella track St Philomene is marred by technical issues at the start, it turns out to be a clear set highlight. Mac mesmerises the audience as she records live loops of herself singing French lyrics and impressively pieces it all together to stunning effect. She shares a brand new track before her spectacular, triple j Like A Version cover of Bridges by Broods.

Making a grand exit with the playfully catchy crowd favourite Roll Up Your Sleeves, the night draws to a close and is bound to leave a lasting impression on all in attendance.
