Remember the exciting days when Muse's talent massively overshadowed their ego?

Now is such a time for Brisbane-based trio Mecha Mecha who, with Your Choice, open this six tracker by riffing on the Teignmouth titans' Hysteria, complete with lashings of filthy-sexy bass guitar. The outlandish bombast is balanced with the restrained Food Sex Shelter, in which Walter Webb's vocals tip-toe the fine line between haggard pain and euphoric optimism. What's adroitly showcased here is a truckload of multi-instrumental talent bursting at the seams and begging to be explored. Long may these times last.
