Possibly the universe's most prolific musician, McGuire has been involved with the recording of 25 albums between 2007 and 2013 (not including the five he recorded with Emeralds in that time), before completing Beyond Belief.
All that labour and attention shows in the intricate levels of performance and production detail. Despite all the ground he's previously covered, McGuire has never articulated his vision as clearly as he does here, particularly on the hypoxia-inducing Earth: 2015 which achieves cosmic enlightenment in ten minutes.
