Live Review: Lxury 'Square 1' Ft. Deptford Goth (Official Video)

London Producer Lxury has released another standout track, collaborating for the first time ever with singer Deptford Goth on 'Square 1'.

It's no secret we love a bit of LXURY here at Purple Sneakers. The London producer consistently delivers tracks of the highest quality in his own style of house, and his latest track, Square 1, featuring DEPTFORD GOTH is no exception!

Bursting with energetic dance-pop, Square 1 has an equally energetic and captivating video clip to go along with it.Directed by MAU MORGO, the clip is actually am homage to African funeral rituals, where they express themselves through dance rather than words. Featuring CGI hands performing sign language with such fluidity it turns into a strange, hypnotic dance routine in time with the beats - this clip somehow manages to add even more to the already great track to make it a real standout in LXURY's catalogue.

The pop vocals of DEPTFORD GOTH compliment the Disclosure-esque production and add an extra, more playful element to the track. This is the first time LXURY has collaborated with anyone and sees the producer looking to add further complexity to his simplistic-sounding tunes. Starting off with an almost trance-like introduction, hypnotic and gentle, the beats kick in and begin to lift the track up alongside DEPTFORD GOTH's lovelorn lyrics.

LXURY has gone from strength to strength lately, with Square 1 being the latest release off his latest EP, Into The Everywhere. The EP also features the track Let Down, which quickly saw praise from the likes of ANNIE MAC in the first week of the year. Going from 2015 alone, it's obvious we will continue to see a lot more of LXURY, as he continues to pump out such high-quality tracks like this!
