This local outfit present a cohesive offering with flavours of '90s alt-rock and an edgier, emo aesthetic. The EP evokes a serious, thundering style of riff-grinding hard-rock: a sound that isn't for everyone. However it also favours a lighter, playful approach as demonstrated in parts of opener Can't Take The Fight, with its energetic, almost rabble-rousing, chorus. The softly twinkling plucked guitar at the end of this song provides a gentle break from two heavy tracks, and this thinner sound is revisited well in Eclipse Pt1 and Pt2. They play at Revolver Upstairs on 12 Dec.
