Album Review: Little Hurricane - Gold Fever

Less centred on the dirty blues progressions they started off with, Gold Fever deviates off into various stylistic territories, all of which will no doubt be tremendously received.

More Little Hurricane More Little Hurricane

Homemade wine bottle-neck guitar slides, filthy overdrive tones and thumping drums, Little Hurricane's brand new follow-up is a shining example of progression in songwriting, production and performance. The duo's rapport has clearly grown over the past few years, initially starting the project barely knowing one another at all. Less centred on the dirty blues progressions they started off with, Gold Fever deviates off into various stylistic territories, all of which will no doubt be tremendously received. One example, done brilliantly: the addition of a horn section in Boiling Water. Excellent.
