Y//2//K and Sakima bring us 'Take Over', with it's delicate strings, strong beat, and elegant piano chords...not to mention Sakima's incredible voice.
Y//2//K has brought us some real standout tracks over his career, and his latest track 'Take Over' featuring British singer Sakima is yet another impressive hit.
Beginning with it's dramatic crescendo which smoothly eases into Sakima's vocal takeover, the track captures it's listeners with it's delicate strings, strong beat, and elegant piano chords.
The track completely explodes with the introduction of synths and an overall trippy vibe brought of my the fast paced riffs in the chorus that really show the full power of Y//2//K's talents. But what really captured me upon listening to 'Take Over' was the vocal lead of Sakima. He completely takes over the track by having such a powerful, booming, emotional and engaging voice. As the listener, a sense of comfort and belonging is found in Sakima's voice and we can feel that emotion again at the end of the song with the elegant piano that caps it off.

The incorporation of the metronome and the elevator 'dings' are perhaps two of the most interesting sections of the track, adding a real experimental and unique vibe to the song that on top of the rest of the one point musical elements makes this one of the best electronic tracks to be released as of late.
Y//2//K has yet again taken listeners by storm with his new track 'Take Over' featuring the incredible Sakima.
