'Divine Disaster' is the latest track by UK producer XO, featuring Sydney vocalist James Chatburn. A phenomenally funky and smooth number.

'Divine Disaster' starts off with simple drum beat intro then quickly switches to Chatburn's vocals with a funky piano that leads into the first verse which adds some deep synths that drive the main groove of the song. The influence of many different styles is apparent in this track, XO blends elements of R&B, house and funk to really create a unique and addicting sound.

In this track XO uses a lot of sidechained compression in this song, which just gives the track a real bounce and adds to the already prevalent dance element within the track.

The vocals provided by James Chatburn fit the style of XO's production, it stays very emotive and dynamic going between low and high tones as the production requires, which is emphasized by side chaining of his vocals to the 4/4 beat.
