With the release of their latest single 'I Can't Dance', Wayward have well and truly returned! Coasting off the back of their debut EP last year titled Ugetsu, the UK duo are kicking things back into gear with a new EP and a fresh new single, 'I Can't Dance'.
Serving up a perfect slice of classic house interjected with chilled out elements, Wayward may well solidify their place in the UK dance scene and beyond if they keep up whatever it is they did for 'I Can't Dance'. With everything looped with precision, the title seems a little redundant considering the song will make you do so, whether you can or can't.
It's a slow burner, with a vocal loops that will absolutely get stuck in your head. It's complimented by subtle house drums, gentle synth crashes and swelling synth lines, as well as an array of subtle samples that give it that little extra depth. Don't let the chilled exterior fool you though, this is a guaranteed dance floor filler and one that I expect to be hearing a lot in the near future.
'I Can't Dance' is a slight shift from Wayward's Ugetsu days, but a welcome one. This track shows they're more than just a one hit wonder, and that there is much more going on with the pair than just a few viral tracks.

Taken from their forthcoming EP, Embroider, Wayward are going anywhere but with this track, and we can't wait to hear what else they've been working on!
