When VIMES first came crashing onto the electronic music scene in 2012, it seemed like we would only be waiting a few months for their debut album, a year at most. Yet it is 2016 and only now is the wait finally over, and boy was it worth it.
The long awaited debut album is titled Nights in Limbo and, in the lead up to it's February 12 release, we've been given a six track preview to get us hyped. It's quite likely you've heard 'Kyra' which is already garnering radioplay, but the most recent release from the album 'Tuem' has only just come out and it's everything we could have wanted. Deep, driving bass, ethereal, ghostly vocals and rising harmonies combine to make a track that hypnotises.

The duo officially formed in late 2012, having met working together at a German music magazine and became fast friends. One thing led to another and they decided to have a crack at making music together, despite their two very different musical backgrounds. From what we have of 'Night in Limbo' thus far, that was a very good decision.
Night in Limbo is out February 12.
