Sydney electronic music trio BV formerly know as Black Vanilla have released a remix of 'Hold' by Vera Blue and it combines soft some beautiful melodies with hard hitting kick drums that will thump heavy through any room.
The 'Hold' remix has some amazing moments in it, BV have gone above and beyond by going between beautiful and ethereal singing and synths to hard hitting kicks and the blend of these elements makes something great. Vera Blue did a great job with the vocal performance on the original; which gave BV a lot to work with on this remix.
BV had this to say about the track “‘Hold’ is such an expressive song and Vera's performance is so assured and emotionally transparent, we jumped at the opportunity to work on this remix. We're suckers for this kind of sincerity and tried to really support the beautiful vulnerability of the lyrics while also taking it a little bit to the club."
