Auckland based musician TWIG PIGEON makes a great start releasing his debut single 'No Call' which is to be on his forthcoming freshman EP fittingly named EP.1, 'No Call' features fellow New Zealander WALLACE who does an excellent job on vocals providing some complement to the smooth soulful production by Twig Pigeon.

'No call' is a blend of funk and soul which give it such a smooth laid back vibe, even though it has heaps of live instruments mixed in with synth and electronic elements the track manages to have all these elements work off each other smoothly and without any clash of aesthetic. Wallace also does a great job on 'No Call' by adding an extra level of detail to a instrument filled track, her vocals really carry some presence in the the track and just add to the overall smoothness of the song.

EP.1 is available for pre-order  and with it you get a copy of 'No calls' to download. Twig pigeon did a great job on his single and hopefully with the release of his debut ep it sets him off for a fruitful career in music with more projects for us to sink our teeth into.
