TIM FITZ is the kinda guy who can make the one-man band cool. This gifted young Sydneysider has written, performed, recorded and produced his EP Beforetime all by his lovely self, in the comfort of his own home. Although released on the 21st of October last year, FITZ’S EP has recently been attracting itself lots of attention.
Featuring on sites like Last FM, The Hype Machine and Triple J Unearthed in the recent weeks, FITZ is being talked about left right and centre, and judging from the comments and reviews, peeps seem to be pretty dang impressed.
FITZ has made a name for himself as an incredibly diverse artist who has the ability to convey different moods, sounds and genres simultaneously throughout his tracks. Considering he flew completely solo through the entire production, the end results are truly impressive, and show off his skills as he’s able to recreate the sounds of a full band by using just a loop pedal.

As well as being a mega talented musician, it turns out TIM FITZ is also a really nice guy, (as if he hadn’t already done enough). He’s put his EP Beforetime up for digital download, employing the brilliant ‘name your own price’ system, which means all you poverty stricken, mi-goreng eating students out there have no excuse.
