23 year old French producer William Rezé aka THYLACINE is making waves with his new album Transsiberian, a album that blends electronic music with field recordings to make a truly immersive album.

The album is great it blends samples of the outdoors with electronic synths and drums to make for an interesting and unique sound, all the synths are emotive and warm while the sampling is full of fascinating sounds, for example a train being used as percussion or female vocals being used alongside field recordings of kids playing, there's always something new to hear that you might of missed the first time with these songs.

When asked about the inspiration of the album Rezé said: “A journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway would finally provide me with the ideal conditions for writing music: the cramped confinement of my cabin, the travel length (as long as 160 hours), the fact that I could use my electronic equipment, the discovery of another culture and a new type of music, nearly 6,000 miles of landscape as well as the opportunity of meeting new people.
