Live Review: Thrupence's indulges in self expression in "Rinse Repeat"

Eclectic would be an understatement when describing this angelic new release 'RINSE REPEAT' from Melbourne producer Thrupence.

Eclectic would be an understatement when describing the angelic new release from Melbourne producer THRUPENCE. The 24 year old has further bolstered his sonic portfolio with another masterpiece of auditory stimuli titled 'RINSE REPEAT'.

Thrupence producer JACK VANZET wastes no time constructing the skeleton of what quickly turns into a fast paced soundscape, filled with sounds from Vanzet's unique palette of system-shattering electronica.

Wind chimes and elevator bells are given new purpose in the hands of Vanzet, his experience in visual communication is put to good use when trying to include visual guides in his creations. The turn of the century technology has given new life to the possibility that each sound has an adjacent visual cue, an ideology that is certainly not lost on the Melbourne producer.

The track pushes past any existing sound barriers you possess, cutting through with equal parts unity and separation. The unique sounds force their way into your ears first, followed by the luscious trimmings that accompany it whether you're listening or not.

Its skills like these that ensure any new Thrupence releases fall straight into the ears of his listeners, while gaining the attention of those who may not follow his works.

Regardless of who hears it, this new track from Vanzet is sure to have an impact. Whether or not that impact inspires a whole new body of work from Thrupence remains to be seen.

FUTURE CLASSIC are yet to announce any future shows or projects to wait for in 2017, but if this new release is anything to go by, id say that 2017 will be filled with more of these delightful pieces from Thrupence. For now revel in the sonic sensation that is 'RINSE REPEAT'
