Sydney's newest group, THE TAPES have formed, in turn kicking off their first track, 'At All' encompassing a serene new sound.
Names you may have heard separately before, Andre Grant (aka La Mar) and Mickey Kojak have been in the music scene for a while now but the duo have now merged into a group called The Tapes. Released last week, the piece is already receiving praises left, right and centre.
'At All' conveys an immersive and captivating entrance for the group into the dance-electronica scene. Soothing vocals intertwined through layers of relaxed beats and high reverb makes for a tranquil track. Take a listen here:
If this excites you then what I'm about to tell you will only make things better. The guys are itching to release a five-track debut EP as well as the announcement of a four-piece live show later this year. So keep your eyes on then, oh and listen out of course as they're got a lot more up their sleeve!
