One of Melbourne's most mysterious club producers KREAP has recently dropped his remix of ST LUCIA’s track 'Elevate'. To me, the original track evokes imagery of road tripping along a windy costal road, top down, hair blowing in the wind.
While I'm pretty sure I'm just re-imagining every corny film clip, ever, the track most definitely does possess that chilled out, summery quality. In true KREAP style, the new track, named as his Throwback Vocal Mix, turns the feel-good original into a club friendly tune fit for any dance floor.
The bouncy bass-line, complimented by the looped vocals from Jean-Phillip Grobler reinvent this track as the original’s cool older sister. Still sweet, but just a little more fun.
