It's only been a few weeks since the release of 'Hold On' by ST ALBION (feat Teischa), but we've already got a fantastic remix to share with you. Released via Affinity Music, the remix is thanks to Melbourne based beatmaker UNO STEREO, an eclectic artist who has been generating a buzz around Melbourne and online. Trust us here, this one is good.
An active member of Melbourne's electronic music scene , UNO Stereo is known for his support of fellow artists as well as his own groovy creations. He has rearranged tracks from artists like WET and fellow Aussies The Aston Shuffle and today we at Purple Sneakers can give you the first look at his newest creation, a reimagining of St Albion's track 'Hold On.'
The track is full of the raw dance energy that his popular remix of WET was famous for, making the most of the beautiful electronica St Albion built for the original track and Teischa's lush vocals. It may come as a surprise to fans of the original track that 'Hold On' could even become such a dance anthem, full of the crazed nightclub energy that seems to fill the room come 1am; when the original seemed far more like it had been molded by the surrealism that takes the mind when 4am comes rolling around. When it comes to energetic dance music, however, UNO Stereo is a master. With deep beats and driving synths, trust us when we say that you don't just want to listen to this 'Hold On' remix, you want to dance to it.
This is the first we've heard from UNO Stereo in a while, with his last released track (a remix of The Ashton Shuffle's 'No Place Like Home' feat Kaelyn Behr) released over a year ago. It's a brilliant returning track and we're sure you'll join us in welcoming UNO Stereo back, with enthusiasm.
