LA based Record label Soulection just dropped a delectable, 7 track EP courtesy of dream duo, SPZRKT & Sango.

Since the success of their smooth, body slinking single ‘Middle of Things, Beautiful Wife’ early last year, it’s been a big question as to when (or whether) Georgia-born SPZRKT and Soulection homeboy Sango, would get together again. But as of 8 days ago, we have the answer, with more of that smoke-y, future minded soul our ears swooned over last time. 'Hours spent loving you' is their highly anticipated love child, paying homage to all those fans who supported their previous affair.

These artists know that’s up when it comes to reinventing genre, they have a fresh, progressive feel for what that RnB slash electronic slash lo-fi slash soulful sound should be in 2015. Both being real students of music, they draw on a number of influences, understanding funky love tracks in the way that Frank Ocean did in 2011, with syrupy vocals and emotionally palpable lyrics, but blending them with futuristic synths and hard hitting beats. This EP aims to be a “summation of how relationships can be earthly and heavenly”, and in 7 tracks it does just that, with some of the most blissful, spaced out RnB you'll hear all year.
