SIBA is planning to start his career off with the debut EP Fruits and 'Mango' is the first single to be released off of the sweet new EP dropping March 18th.
'Mango' has heaps of synth pop styled production, a lot of the synths heard have a bounce to them like they are being played by a percussion instrument or strings that are are being hit for short bursts, either way it gives the track a lot of groove.
SIBA brings a great vocal performance on top of the production by using his higher registers of his vocal range throughout the entire song, emphasizing on the light and pop feel that this track has, the entire track has a great feel to it which hopefully is an indication on the rest of the EP.
SIBA said this when asked about his forthcoming ep Fruits : “I was brought up on hit compilations like Hits For Kids and Now That’s What I Call Music. That type of music and songwriting has had a big influence on me. Even though this kinda music is a big part of me I try to make something new to the ear. That being said I don’t see myself as some artsy artist trying to do something new and weird, i just try to make my music sound like no one else(even though i know i’ll get a millions of comparisons to other artists haha). I don’t see the point in doing something someone else is doing.”
