Sydney dance duo SET MO have returned this week with some down tempo house magic, featuring the inimitable vocal stylings of WOODES aka Elle Graham. For those of you who are familiar with Set Mo, you're probably well aware that they absolutely know how to get around a party classic. These two have been keeping busy over the last 12 months, having released a few singles, and lighting up dance floors across the country. ‘I Belong Here’ is their latest offering to the world, and it features a pretty incredible array of local talent. Aside from the piercingly beautiful vocals of  Woodes, Set Mo recruited, what we would consider, an Aussie music dream team; including Triple J’s KLP, ELIZABETH ROSE and ASTA on vocal support, and CLIENT LIAISON’S bassist Tom Tilley for a subtle injection of funk. Set Mo have a distinctive style, but they definitely bring a fresh perspective to ‘I Belong Here.’

“Over the last couple of years, we’re really feeling like we’re coming into our own as songwriters as well as producers. Working with Woodes after being personal fans of her music for so long was a dream for us. Having Tom on bass; Asta, Liz and KLP on backing vocals are massive cherries on top to a song we’re very proud of and can’t wait to share with everyone,” Set Mo commented.

Set Mo open 'I Belong Here' with a Woodes' hypnotic vocal hook, and the soft twinkle of piano, luring listeners in like a siren's call. On first listen, 'I Belong Here' washes over you, with a real warmth and gentle uplifting euphoria. The classic house piano gives the track it's signature Set Mo vibe. There's a real chemistry between every element of this track. The soft shaker percussion and gentle flourish of a tambourine, caress nicely with Woodes's vocal effortlessly.

Without trying too hard, 'I Belong Here' feels like the kind of track you'd drop when the dance floor's really heating up around 2am and there's nothing both love around.
