Ramping things up a notch, KOKIRI has just now worked his magic on SAM FELDT’s take on everyone’s favourite dancefloor anthem ‘Show Me Love’, and we’re pleased as punch to be bringing this to you as a PREMIERE!
Originally written and performed by Robin S. back in 1990, ‘Show Me Love’ was later dubbed by Steve Angello & Laidback Luke back in 2008 and made popular for the masses.
Sam Feldt is bringing it back in 2015 with his slow, passionate take on the classic hit, and since its creative conception, there’s been a steady slew of remixes.
However, the Kokiri remix takes this to a new level. Ramping up the tempo by an exceptionable amount, he’s almost made it double time, taking these vocals from passionate romp all the way up to dancefloor anthem status.
The production itself is cool, crisp and celebrative of all that’s good about this classic. Opening with a slow intake of clever layers, it eventuates into this modern-deep house-esque palette of warped bass, synths and the gorgeous sounds delivered by Sam Feldt’s vocals.
We’ve been impressed a countless number of times with this song, but Kokiri has given it a fresh breath of modern dance and one that’ll definitely be on a dancefloor near you soon.
