LA boys RKCB have released their latest single, 'Bloom'. The track is a base line heavy, tropical electronica number. R&B vocals pair with crispy future beats, the production is so clean it almost squeaks, and a catchy hook mixed with such satisfying synths and percussion ensures this one sticks in your head.
RKCB champion a contemporary sound popular on blogs. This is certainly reflected in their stream count clocking up over 22 million listens on Spotify and 12 million on SoundCloud. They recently finished up a big US tour supporting Australian duo Bag Raiders whose 2009 track "Shooting Stars" was recently thrown from obscurity into the US charts thanks to a meme.
They've had successes in several Spotify charts Ranging from New Music Friday, Alternative R&B, Indie Pop and US Viral Charts. It's a perfect example of how the internet allows relatively small profile acts to penetrate a huge market.
'Bloom' is part of an extensive back catalogue of singles and collaborations released by RKCB over past few years.
