Sydney-based VELODROME RECORDS return with another release, and this time they’re launching a debut EP from the imprint’s very own POSTURE, titled ‘Brain Dance’.

A reputable force in the new wave of producers across the Sydney music scene, Posture rings in the new year with an energised masterclass that is the perfect follow up to his isolation-inspired release ‘Zoom Dates’. Maintaining the confident versatility of the Velodrome catalogue, ‘Brain Dance’ is an apt introduction into the world of Posture, keeping heavily hypnotic and totally club functional.

Written in the times of isolation, ‘Brain Dance’ is a microscopic focus into past and future dance-floor accounts . Whilst pensive in mood, it is a record that invites listeners to imagine introspection in the peak of dancefloor hypnosis. Upholding a delicate and fluid vibrancy throughout, ‘Brain Dance’ is a bold and confident body of work that consists of four peak-set techno cuts: 'Manage It', 'Heartbeat', 'Ready' and 'Take It Off'. Each track is packed with undertones of intricate driving percussion and sombre tonal palettes, all of which touch base with Velodrome's consistency to produce electronic music at an organic high quality.

This marks the third label release for Velodrome Records, following Posture's 'Zoom Dates' and Unpin's 'Soy Piccolo', which solidified the label's fixture as a forward-thinking staple in the Sydney underground scene.
