PNAU return with another dancefloor hit in their new Vlossom-featuring single, 'Lucky'.
Living dance music icons PNAU are back with their first single of 2020. Titled 'Lucky', its a shimmering slice of dancefloor ecstasy, custom-made to help us all escape for a bit.
Overflowing with positivity and gratitude, 'Lucky' reminds us all to take a moment to appreciate the wider world around us. Teaming up with Al Wright, frontman of Cloud Control and one half of Vlossom (of which PNAU's Nick Littlemore is the other half), his vocals provide an ethereal, otherworldly element that absolutely soars above the quintessential PNAU production. It's cathartic in its lyrics and its driving, propulsive beat, and warm in its gentle atmospherics, serving almost like an audible hug telling you everything's gonna be alright after all.
Nick Littlemore said of the new single, "'Lucky' came at a time of deep reflection during winter in Sydney last year. I was in limbo without a visa to return home in Los Angeles; moving from low rent hotels to expired motels, couches and the like. Alister and I were yet to release any Vlossom music, but we were in a place of imagineering our possible futures. ‘Lucky’ represents that most golden future, shimmering just in the distance like over a frosty hill, approaching. Like a summer of love is on its way to you, full up of emotional ecstasy."
'Lucky' comes after another incredible year for PNAU with the release of 'Solid Gold' and 'All Of Us' in 2019. The legendary group continue to be at the very top of their game with each release, and 'Lucky' is yet another testimony to just how brilliant and cutting edge they remain.
