We're stoked to be premiering the very first listen of Monday Records' signee Pikachunes latest brilliant single, 'You Are'.

Every now and then, you stumble across a song that stops you in your tracks; a track that grabs you instantly because of something going on it in you haven't quite heard before, but you can't really get enough of it. Melbourne artist PIKACHUNES' latest track, 'You Are', is one such track.

Featuring thematic vocals, thick metallic synths, commanding lyrics and crashing beats, 'You Are' is dramatic and over the top in the best way possible. Featuring some intimate and rather vulnerable lyrics that are quite revealing, but juxtaposed with a huge wall of sound that is his off-kilter brand of electronica, there is just something about this that has got us well and truly hooked!

If you are a fan of this like us, you are in luck! This is the first taste of what is still to come, with an album titled Allely slated for release this year via Monday Records. Melbourne fans can also get along to check him out live in action at the Evelyn with Lanks and Zone Out on January 21st. See details for that here and head along if you can. Pikachunes is not an act you'll want to sleep on.
