Very little can be found out about the young producer, who used to perform as Nakagin but has taken a more mature and stripped back approach as Pendant, except for a few blurry Facebook photos and brief announcements of set times at low-key venues around the city.

Described as a ‘new rough one’ on his Soundcloud page, ‘Index’ is a wordless mix, save for the faint rumblings of a crowd that creep in midway, bringing an added depth and richness to the mellow sound.
