LISTEN to the latest single 'How We Feel' from Sydney five-piece indie-rockers PANAMA.
If you're not following the Future Classic Soundcloud by now, you gotta catch up. The label that brought you FLUME, TOUCH SENSITIVE and ANNA LUNOE has long been bringing us countless other acts we can't stop listening to. Four days ago the gang gave us the killer second single from PANAMA's new three track EP, 'How We Feel'.
PANAMA, a collection of five local Sydney talents, including the likes of Jack McLeary and Cam Edwards from The Dirty Secrets (yes the same guys who supported an MGMT tour and worked with Libertines producer and engineer Nick Terry), released their first single 'Magic' in 2012.
The song was an 80s pop jam with all the sensibilities of a good indie rock band, and it was well received by the likes of Lewi McKirdy and Dave Ruby Howe of Triple J fame, earning it enough air time to put PANAMA on the map.

Since then their sound has developed into a melodic and soulful delight drawing strong influences from fellow Sydney artists CLUBFEET and of course other Future Classic artists, whilst still maintaining their 80s summer pop influences and unique vibe. Obviously a band that's found their strong suit, PANAMA have accumulated a lot of play on this EP already, with their first single 'Always' cracking half a million plays in less than a month, and the official WAVE RACER remix a quarter of a million in less than a week.
'How We Feel' was released four days ago and has over 55,000 plays already on soundcloud alone. The EP hit number 1 on the iTunes Electronic Charts today and is yours for only $3.99 with remixes from CLASSIXX, COSMO'S MIDNIGHT and WAVE RACER. The summery jam has raised some eyebrows (in a good way) and you can bet 2014 will be a big year for the group.
