We premiered the clip to their debut single, 'The Girl In The Yellow Dress', and so now we are super excited to share with you OH REACH's follow up, 'Rocking Horse Money Box'.
Leading the vibrant strum of an acoustic guitar and a willing bassline is the assertive organ conducting 'Rocking Horse Money Box'. As we already know, the Sydney supergroup carry a niche, partially-retrospective sound that is difficult to establish on a timeline, and coordinate it with their unique story-telling; executing their narratives in sonic chapters. This is expressed with confidence, as their new single does exactly that, this time led by Simon Relf (The Tambourine Girls, Deep Sea Arcade).
Angled at a particular recipient, the lyricism is heightened by the composition, as its dominant nature is effectively impacted upon the demeanour of, 'Rocking Horse Money Box'; a song-writing skill found in each of the members' other musical projects.
An exciting new taste of what is to follow, 'Rocking Horse Money Box' is Oh Reach's second single, and can be heard live on the night of their debut performance at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory.
