One has the face of a Fox while the other is named after that crazy kid we all knew in primary school, they are NΣΣT and Spazzkid and together they have produced an upbeat, anime-inducing track that varies from the everyday, electronic music sound.
Two truly introspective artists with two different styles, the collaboration is innovative, spacy and works like a watch; intricate workmanship inside but simplistic and smooth in it’s aesthetic.
NΣΣT a Canadian native hailing from the city of Calgary and who believes in the importance of continually evolving music is fairly new on the music scene, however his seemingly anime inspired work is some of the most different, versatile and diverse I’ve ever seen. Spazzkid, an LA wanderer who is known for his positive driving beats that reflects the adventures of life, likewise producers material different from the everyday and already has a massive fan base behind him. Having released his debut LP ‘Desire’ in 2013 and an EP ‘Promise’ in 2014, the LA local is now currently on tour with American band Giraffage.
The track ‘Your’s Truly’ shows the influence and individual visions of both Spazzkid and NΣΣT, however, it is obvious that these two artists, when collaborating, turn as one. With charming Japanese influences the track is a bubblegummy-pop electronic dream that includes rumbling, choir-like synths, the odd rave whistle and slow, sensual saxophone.

Paired with vocals that could be described as cuddly and catchy, reverberating loosely around the beat, the song creates an interesting mood. Back and forth between both female and male sections, the track itself is a prime depiction of the artist’s versatility, both segments different but complimentary to each other and tied in with some catchy synth.
Though a world tour may not be on offer in the near future, both Spazzkid and NΣΣT are two producers to be watched throughout 2015.
