As a big fan of MIIKE SNOW’s ‘Paddling Out’, and an even bigger fan of the weird-arse film clip that goes with it, I approached PENGUIN PRISON’s remix with skepticism.To be honest, the beginning of the mix was a little dull in comparison, but I pressed on. And I'm glad that I did so because, mere seconds later, I was rewarded with a tasty beat drop (what else?).
Penguin Prison’s remix approaches the track with a deeper and more disco-y sound that won me over by the end. The remix definitely makes for easy listening and is a little less in-your-face than the original, but still brings a really strong and dance-y vibe, especially towards the close of the mix.
