Today we’ve got a classic club throwback remix for you – now, we ‘don’t need no hateration’ because ‘I told you leave your situations at the door, so grab somebody and get your ass on the dance floor’. Indulge yourself in the glorious mature strength cheese of INSTRUM’s take on Mary J. Blige’s ‘Family Affair’.

The queen of hip hop and soul has been remixed countless times over the years, but this latest offering from a smiley faced young New Yorker is set to have the girls (and boys) flocking to the dance floor, sloshing drinks on their way, arms in the air and shrieks galore.

Blige and Dr Dre’s original track holds the grand accolade of No.95 on Rolling Stones’ 100 Best Songs of 2000s, but the funky house bass line and subtle brass work of INSTRUM’s remix is bang on current trend.
