It's been all silent on the M.I.A front for a while but we finally have a new single from the British/Sri Lankan exotic ghetto star. The production in this new track, titled 'Bad Girls' is sounding very futuristic/bedroom created - reminiscent of a lot of the stuff we've been hearing from Watch The Throne, Drake etc recently. She seems to have ditched her 8-bit electro roots in favour of a more streamlined hip-hop sound.
The lyrics however, and the far eastern elements that make up the guts of this track are very true to what M.I.A is all about - early fans will not be disappointed by this new offering.
