It's an awesome thing to see LEISURE encapsulating their whole aesthetic in one simple track. With 'Got It bad', they give us that perfect groovy sound to get your hips looping and head rolling like it's nobodies business. Funky guitar riffs, a deep bass-line and Caribbean style shakers mix together to make a sort of retro cocktail of psychedelic soul and funk. While wistful reverberated vocals shift along like tiny boat on the ocean and remind you of the simple things in life.
With unapologetically repetitive lyrics like "Girl you think you got it bad", it's hard not to imagine yourself experiencing all things chill in Tahiti or something with a whole lot of tanning game.
