Gold Coast brother and sister duo Lastlings have just dropped their track 'Urges', the latest single off their forthcoming EP.

Brother and sister duo LASTLINGS have surely been picked up by your radar by now, and we can assure you that they will stay there for a long, long time. Just dropping their latest track 'Urges', the pair continue to prove a musical maturity and know-how well beyond their young years, and the good news doesn't stop there. Lastlings have also recently jumped aboard Exist. Recordings, the label pioneered by Danny Harley of The Kite String Tangle.

Their latest single 'Urges' is sharp with icy synths and celestial vocals. Amy Dowdle's voice is piercing, but never obtrusive. For all the layers and depth involved in the track's construction, there is a focus on control, controlling 'Urges'. The song's bridge crackles into a really interesting break down. An otherwise a very vocal-heavy song, the focus on the instrumental that concludes the song is a sweet way to close, while leaving us wanting more.

'Urges' is the latest single off Lastlings' forthcoming EP Versus, due out on March 17. Successfully garnering attention from their first effort UNREALITY, their sophomore EP is really going to bring it home. With seven tracks in total all written and produced in their home, we are expecting quite the family affair.
